As part of our Covid19 precautions. We're going to implement a stricter sick day policy in a addition to our standard one.
- We will send a child home with:
- A temperature of 100. 4 or even without a fever if there’s: Excessive coughing, Trouble breathing, Persistent pain or pressure in the chest, Rashes, Bluish lips or face, In confused state, generally weak and no interest . Please try to pick up a sick child within an hour.
- A child with a fever of 100.4 or higher must remain home for 24-48 hours after the fever has broken without fever reducing medications.
- A child with Any 2 combination symptoms will be send home and will needed a covid test prior to joining the group. Such as Colds & cough, Cough & fever, Rashes & colds, etc.
- If a child becomes sick with any respiratory symptoms like cough, fever, muscle aches, etc. The child must stay home for at least 3 days of being healthy and cleared by medical professional to attend daycare again. A clearance note will be required.
- Diarrhea - Must stay home for at least 24 hours symptom free.
A child should stay home or should be pick up as soon as possible whenever there’s a fever higher than 101 degrees Fahrenheit taken orally & a tympanic temperature of over 100 degrees.
Vomiting - Especially in cases that it is combined with fever & diarrhea. The child should not return to care until 24 hrs have passed since the last sign of the symptoms. Any Diarrhea, Difficulty breathing, chronic coughing or wheezing.
Any contagious condition including ringworm, bedbugs, head lice or pink eye, unusual nasal discharge, Mouth sores, Persistent or constant pain (ear, stomach, etc.), Severe itching & A widespread rash, Behavior that seems slow, confused, and disoriented.
We require a doctor's clearance upon coming back and proof of treatment in cases like head lice.
