Our COVID Response:

Our group thrives because of the continuous effort of all our parents/families in keeping our bubble safe and healthy. In addition to rigorous cleaning effort, acquiring best performing heavy duty cleaning appliances, Structured procedures & policy in placed and pandemic lifestyle change we all  had to adapt. Joyful Beginnings is blessed to have an in house "Sanitation Manager"- Anthony is Joy's (Provider) husband. He used to be a Sanitation  & pest control Manager for big food Manufacturing company. Handled multiple factories across DMV. Training people on proper cleaning & sanitizing, Overseeing the company's cleanliness, represented them and made sure they'd pass and got the highest rating from USDA and other third party auditing company & clients. All these mad skills and expertise has been a blessing to Joyful Beginnings just in the right time before pandemic hits and Anthony has decided to join his wife in running the daycare full time. We are so grateful that these skills came with personal contacts that enabled us to be well stocked (Since the beginning while shortages was happening) with cleaning products not only commercially grade effective but also food grade that is safer around people especially kids. 

LIFESTYLE CHANGE:

We wanted all parents to feel confident that we take safety seriously and also wanted to model them. We personally haven't let our guard down yet since day 1. We still cautiously sanitizes all packages coming inside the house. We wear mask religiously anywhere, Subscribed on grocery deliveries, & hasn't widen our trusted bubble yet that includes no extra activities yet for own child. As a parents too we will do what it takes and how long it takes to make sure that our little ones is safe and healthy. Hoping that everyone will continue to do so.

MAKING OUR HOME SAFER:

In an all out effort to keep everyone safe. We have upgraded our daycare air purifier into a medical grade/ commercial one. A very promising technology that is now widely use for medical offices and school settings. This is an addition to our existing home built in air purifier/dehumidifier. We have one for the main daycare and one for the infant's room. 

We also have radon mitigation system in place. Please take note that our home passed the EPA's recommended safety reading with flying colors and NO mitigation is needed. But as  parents and to protect our own family also. Safety is something we wanted to be assured of and we want it to be at least at almost non existence and decided to have the system in good running condition. Please also take note that radon is present in every home and not everyone is aware of it or wanted to do more about it more than EPA's recommendation. This disclosure is only meant to show our honest commitment in making sure that every child or people in our home is as safe and healthy as they can be.  

RELIABILITY:

In an effort to be as reliable as possible. We also have invested in a back up generator. Hoping that this will help minimize closures during natural calamities and maintain comforts for everyone.
